With CRISPR/Cas9 method 7 bp in exon 3 of FXIIIA (Factor XIII subunit A) gene has deleted. FXIIIA is a member of the transglutaminase (Tgase) family, that catalyzes protein cross-linking reactions. Blood coagulation was retarded by inability of enzymatically cross-linking of fibrin, analyzed by westren blotting showing loss of dimer molecule of gamma fibrin. Data are published in FEBS Journal. vol. 284, 2843-2855, 2017. Upon the publish of this article, the name of the mutant was changed from OlTGB(del7) to FXIIIAdel7. |
